Snake Oil pays authentic homage to the greats of Nashville Country and the Americas in their own inimitable way, blending fun and warmth in a colourful foot-tapping production. Johnny Cash to The Mavericks, The Eagles to Alan Jackson – all in one show.
Snake Oil, the UKs premier Country Rock & Tex Mex Rock n’ Boogie band are proud to bring you their new feel-good performance to The Barrington with their six-piece showband. Snake Oil is an established country rock outfit and has been playing big stages across the South of the UK for many years. Bringing a taste of the Americas to the UK since 2006, Hampshire based Snake Oil Band has been blazing a trail for familiar new and classic country rock & Tex Mex fun style tunes.
Snake Oil amigos feature Paul Rutter on Vocals and Rhythm Guitar; David Martin Lead Guitar and Vocals; Tom Shrimpton, Bass and Vocals; Steve Shrimpton, on Drums respectively. Friends of Snake Oil include Ray Phillips on Pedal Steel guitar playing duties, alongside their fiddler Elina Zotova
