
Our seated exercise sessions are gentle, chair-based, and designed for all abilities – helping you feel stronger, move more freely, and build confidence in your everyday life. Each session takes you through a series of simple guided movements focused on improving strength, flexibility, and balance – the kind of things that make a real difference to how you feel day to day. Everything is guided in a warm, encouraging way, with everyone going at their own pace. This isn’t just a fitness class – it’s a supportive, friendly group where people genuinely look out for one another and there’s always plenty of laughter along the way.
After the exercise, everyone comes together for tea, coffee, pastries and a chat – for many of our members, this is the highlight of the afternoon. On the last Wednesday of each month we replace the session with something fun – bingo, Play Your Cards Right, or another group activity – keeping things fresh and giving everyone something extra to look forward to.

For just £20 a month, you’ll have unlimited access to all three of our clubs – the Monday Matinee Movies, Wednesday Seated Exercise, and Friday Kurling – plus access to special sessions, regular parties and group outings throughout the year, including our popular trips to concerts at The Barrington Arts & Community Center.
