Looking for something fun, creative, and a little bit different for your child? Our Creative Plaiting Workshop is the perfect way for children aged 10–16 to learn exciting hair skills, build confidence, and express their creativity in a relaxed and friendly environment.
This hands-on workshop is all about learning trendy, festival-inspired hairstyles while having fun. Whether your child is a complete beginner or already loves experimenting with hair, they’ll leave feeling proud of what they’ve created.
What will they learn?
During the workshop, children will be guided step-by-step through a range of popular braiding techniques, including:
- Bubble Braids – a fun and eye-catching style that’s perfect for festivals and parties
- Dutch Braids – a classic, stylish braid that sits beautifully on the hair
- Fishtail Braids – a slightly more advanced technique that looks intricate but is easy to learn with guidance
Each style is broken down into simple steps, making it easy for everyone to follow along and succeed.
Get creative with accessories
To make the experience even more exciting, we’ll also be adding:
- Hair tinsel
- Glitter
- Fun hair accessories
This gives every child the chance to personalise their look and create something unique. It’s all about creativity, self-expression, and having fun with hair!
A relaxed and supportive environment
The workshop is designed to be welcoming, encouraging, and hands-on. Children will practice on mannequins (all equipment is provided), so there’s no pressure—just a chance to learn at their own pace and enjoy the process.
They’ll also gain useful skills they can take home and use on themselves, friends, or family.
