Join us at the Barrington Centre for an NHS Blood Donation event and help save and transform lives in our community. Donating blood is a simple, safe, and incredibly meaningful way to support patients undergoing life-saving and life-enhancing treatments.
What You Can Donate
Blood
At this event, you can donate blood, which is vital for people facing a wide range of medical needs—from emergency surgeries to long-term treatments. A blood donation is taken from your arm and collected safely in a donation bag by trained NHS staff.
What to Expect

Your appointment will take around one hour from start to finish.

The actual donation takes 10 to 15 minutes.

After donating, you’ll have time to enjoy a complimentary drink and snack while you rest.
How Often You Can Donate
If you’d like to donate again, you can book another appointment after the recommended waiting period:

Men: at least 12 weeks between donations

Women: at least 16 weeks between donations
